Most Boring - On Emptying A Bottle Of Tsuki-Yo

Recommended Posts

Never being able to think of anything original to say, I have not contributed to this thread before. But I have followed it with great amusement and it is sad to see the project reach its inevitable end.

Thank you KaB, thank you Tas for the GIFs and thank you Old_Inkyhand - the hummingbird may be cute, but the mosquito has an appealing evil about it and suits the image perfectly.

Maybe KaB, you can start a new thread following the painting of the wall!

Why do you have a tassel on your bottle, and I don't?

Yours fallen off in the box ? I have four bottles of Iroshizuku ink and on one of them the knot had come undone (it's not even a real knot) and the tassel had fallen off.

Yup, thanks. I can now join the boring Tsuki-Yo bottle emptying club. I would have been really uncomfortable if I had not found that tassel.

Fortunately it doesn't spread zika. On the other hand, it turns people into Na'vi from the Avatar movie.

Thank you @martinbir!

Oh I thought it spread Tsukiyonism 😊

  • 2 weeks later...

Opening my drawer with the CD's, I've just witnessed the first apparition of the self-sacrificing First Bottle. Tsukiyonism lives!

Would it be significant that this happened so close to Mahler 2?

Catching up here after a couple months away... what a treat.

KaB - well done!

Artistic commentators - same!

Hmmm, I think I'll get another cat and call it Tsuki-yo. It sounds like it should be a cats name.

Cats always make the right choices

Always? This morning, literally minutes before she had an appointment at the vet, our Bengal kitten managed to sneak into the under stairs cupboard (which she's been repeatedly advised not to do), miss her step whilst scaling the shelves therein (another thing that's been repeatedly pointed out as ill-advised) and pull a bottle of red wine to the floor. It went everywhere, not least all over her. I question whether visiting your medical professional whilst reeking of Rioja is the right choice.

On the plus side, it wasn't a bottle of Tsuki-yo; that'd be taking conversion to Tsukiyonism a bit far...

She just wanted to increase the chances of leading a healthy life AND show that she is not an ordinary cat by opting for vinotherapy. Never underestimate a cat ;)

Well, a vet might be the best thing for a cat with a drinking problem. The wine is supposed to go inside, not outside. :)

So space and time are linked together. As we are looking across space, we are looking back in time. The further and further away those stars are the further back in time you are looking. Now you are seeing a star that is say six thousand years ago. Imagine somebody at that star looking at us They would be seeing us as we were six thousand years ago. Which of those two is now? - Alan Parsons Project The Time Machine - Temporalia (Paraphrased)

"Reeking of Rioja" sounds like another great alliterative movie title, like "Sleepless in Seattle."

You should remind your cat that a wine is a terrible thing to waste.

Highly significant, I should say. I noticed the Bernstein set right off.
