£1 says your wall changes colour before you use the bottle up . . . :)

It most certainly should! You might have noticed we already plastered the little holes..

50 ml, 50 refills! Same pen throughout?

No. At this moment I use it for the pen that sits at my desk (the Lamy vista) and for one of the 3 pens I take to work:a TWSBI vac700 with 1.1 stub. That is currently the only one of the 3 work pens not on rotation. Which might change if/when a New pen appears

I'll be watching this thread with bated breath!

Thank you for spelling "bated" correctly! It is a fun idea, maybe with a few writing samples thrown in from time to time?

Sure, why not. I've just been writing these labels (my handwriting improvements are wearing off, should pick up exercising again  )

I am one of those - I'm afraid - that probably would have spelled it incorrectly. On the subject of my ignorance: KaB, I thought French was the langauge of Belgium?

Great thread idea! I would steal it if I could use the same ink so consistently.

Not in the Flemish part of Belgium--they speak Vlaams, which is a variant of Dutch. Wikipedia says that 3/5 of Belgians speak Dutch.

The history of how this came to be is very interesting.

KaB, I see you are in Antwerpen, a place near to my heart, since the Ruckers dynasty made wonderful harpsichords there from the 16th-18th Cs.

KaB, you need to write more and get a nib that devours ink.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Create a Ghostly Avatar and I'll send you a letter. Check out some Ink comparisons: The Great PPS Comparison

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

The OP really has to find a way to start enjoying life.

I can't wait to see what it looks like when it's empty.

They did indeed. We've got a few of them in the Vleeshuis museum. A museum where the instruments are actually used for concerts and cd recordings. Sadly most Flemish people will know stromae (who has a Flemish mother), few will know Ruckers...

I have been lucky enough to play on a couple of Ruckers instruments. I was a friend of the late Gustav Leonhardt and had a delightful time with him some years ago in Brugge, where he served for years on the jury of the triennial harpsichord competition.

And people thought this thread wouldn't be interesting . . .

Just ran out with my Vac, so: second refill and a new shot!

now it'll probably take a few more days before one of the two pens inked up with tsuki-yo run out. Got to keep the ink in the other pens flowing to, right?
