Most Boring - On Emptying A Bottle Of Tsuki-Yo

Recommended Posts

When I started reading this thread, I had no idea it went on for 14 pages. I was going to post about how I thought your writing on the first page looked great to me. But here that appears on page 15.

It is interesting to watch, as another poster noted, I haven't emptied a bottle yet. I keep changing color choices. Watching you concentrate on one bottle is interesting. I'm hooked.

Edited to update where this post fit. New page!

I don't concentrate on one bottle and keep changing colors and pens all of the time. Except for two of my pens that currently will stay in rotation and only run on Tsuki-Yo. Just watch my signature on the bottom of the post to see what else I've got inked currently.

Great idea! Do you have any idea about how long this will take? I am in my late 70's, and wonder if I will live to see the empty bottle? C. S.

Does the level of ink ever go in the other direction? Or maybe you could add some drama (not that it's needed) by turning the bottle 90 degrees. Or see what happens of you go a full 180 - both with the cap on and the cap off.

I tried that once with a Parker Penman bottle. Inverted it to fill the the little inkwell in the neck. It needs the lid on to fill the inkwell.

That could be interesting. 90 degree picture showing either of the short sides of the bottle, and 180 degree picture showing long side of the bottle without the label.

I think this thread could be spiralling out of control and creating too much stimulation....

If KaB turns up the excitement dial even more, lord knows what might happen to some of the people reading this thread.

If KaB does this, I think KaB should add a Warning message in the original post in case there are people with weak hearts or other health issues....just to be safe.....

Don't know about your healt situation. I do know that I've started less than a year ago and I'm way beyond the half-way mark. My cat can do the math. (Then again, one can't call my cat intellectually challenged) -_-

I love this! I just filled a pen with Iroshizuku Ama-Iro and wondered how long the bottle would last and here you are asking pretty much the same thing! I look forward to this, but I suspect it is going to take a while!

I can't decide if I care more about this thread or the next season of Game of Thrones...

Definitely this thread.

Have tried to watch the first episode of GoT three twice, failed. Tried to read the first book three times, never got past the first half of the first chapter. Not in the class of Fritz Leiber or Michael Moorcock.

This thread, without question. I read the first book in Game of Thrones, and by the time I ran across the second, I didn't care any more.

I am not going to hijack this thread with all the moral and philosophical underpinnings of my aversion to GoT, especially the HBO production thereof.

I am most impressed by the ability to fill the same pen with the same ink so many times. I am not a pigmentary monogamist, I suppose. I find myself thinking, "Does he not realize there are three NEW Kobe inks since this started? Has he not seen Shimmertastic? Where is the post explaining that Twilight Blue has taken over for a short break?"

Truly, truly, truly impressed and deeply appreciative.

Might slow down now however. Keen to take my new pen for a spin of course! (And I selected Diamine Grape to go with the silverbarley-goldtrim Sheaffer Legacy I)
