I am really enjoying this. Do you have a sequel planned for us?

A sequel, now there's sth to think about tomorrow in the traffic jam.

This must be one of the most enjoyable threads on FPN; a great idea and fantastic development. But then I've often enjoyed watching paint dry. Many thanks, KaB.

Wow. Just wow.

Interesting to watch how the shadow of the bottle moves in the background ― if we knew where you live and which orientation the bottle is in, we could then figure out exactly at which hour you filled your pens. (Sorry for the craziness, I'm up studying late again...)

the easier and more accurate way would be to look at the timestamp of my postings and deduct 4 minutes. easier and more accurate but less creative

oh, and one more thing: the shadow comes from the lamp on my desk that I direct towards the bottle when making a pic.

so you might consider your approach highly creative and totally inaccurate ;)

I sort of wish you'd given the last frame 2-3x the time of the others.

I was thinking the same. Either way, that's pretty awesome. Once the bottle is finished, maybe a new GIF can be created to show it being emptied start to finish.

Yes! And then the gif could show the bottle re-filling itself.

the phase in emtying a VAC that I love most: when the pen is almost out of ink. Putting down the pen, the remaining ink builds a 'skeleton-pen' like construction. Only one where the walls move at a slow pace en the 'empty spaces' become more clear with every passing second.

I'll admit I thought of this thread when I bought my last pen - a TWSBI Vac 700, 1.1 stub nib. That pen goes though ink like no other in my (small) collection!

Continuing to watch this thread with great interest and a big smile.
