Most Boring - On Emptying A Bottle Of Tsuki-Yo

Not sure I understand this (English is only my 3rd language). I thought 'perambulation' was kind of a random stroll one makes, walking around.

You mean you want to see what I've written using that ink?

You are right, but in this context it would be a subconscious doodle, with the nib 'perambulating' randomly around the paper, rather than something more directed like a shopping list.

20th filling. The VAC. Not really happy with filling it (got to only just over half a filling), but I left it to that: that's reallity. Only in a demo you can see it...

Cleaning the pens in between?

No I haven't: the two pens filled with Tsuki-Yo are in constant use with the same ink. So I didn't see the point. (I did clean the lid of the VAC though: it was getting stained) (I do clean the other pens that are on rotation after they run dry and have to make room for another rotation pen, obviously)

Should I? And why?

I asked because i was unsure. Some people don't clean the pen at all when using the same ink while some clean it once a month or so. I'm hoping to read somehting to convince myself that no cleaning is required cause I'm just that lazy.. :C

This will give me an idea of how many pen fills I've gotten, assuming our pens hold about the same amount of ink. I just emptied my second bottle of tsuki yo. Eleven forum pages on one bottle of ink....very impressive. You will be able to tell us the cost per fill!

We all notice huge differences between different pens. Currently paying attention, I also notice remarkable differences between fills with the same pen...

funny isn't it. And I'm not even halfway...

Sounds right. Kinda like the last ten laps of a nascar race.

As for me...all the laps in a Nascar race are boring....even watching this ink bottle is more intriguing than Nascar anything. I prefer every exciting lap in a Formula One race personally. And of course, this is just my useless opinion, others are welcome to feel differently.

Go Fast, Turn Left.

Very unexciting for me to. I even prefer go carts to Nascar. I love the Sports Car Races and of course Formula I, despite the drastic changes.

I just put some Tsuki-yo in my pen and started using it, prompted in part by this thread!

I can't wait to see the picture after you refill the Vac! Those things have a huge ink capacity; I bet it'll make a big difference.

Not long and we'll be in "syringe" territory! I love the cone for the nib in the bottom of the Iroshizuku bottles, but I wish it were deeper!

I am seeing progress. Hurry and buy your next bottle.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).
