Blue Hour Mb Pens

Like you, Orfew, I am most interested in the Blue Hour line and the new Heritage Roller Ball. I keep waiting for my local MB Boutique to take delivery of the Blue Hour pens. I am not sure what the hold-up is given their release date was June 1. I am in Budapest as I write this and I hope to stop by the MB Boutique in this lovely city tomorrow to see if the have the pens in their shops on the Continent.

It is named after the time in the evening that most of us call "Dusk", in which the whole world appears to be blue. In some places, this time of the day is referred to as the "Blue Hour". The color and design of the pen is modeled after the Blue Hour

I would say the Mid-sized ballpoint is very close to being the same thickness as the 146, but it is slightly longer since it does not have the twist-off cap like a 146 has. It is quite lovely and fits my hand perfectly! I ordered every piece in the line....I love them that much haha!

Interesting. Never really heard of the term blue hour before, or I never really noticed it. Now these pens have a little more meaning.for me.

Just visited the boutique tonight and test the 146 F nib blue hour FP with twilight blue (just arrived). Nib is 'juicy' and the weight of the pen is well balanced. Colour of twilight blue ink is amazing. Will bring it home tomorrow and share photos asap.
