Thank you! That taper at the top is distinctive. I'd say from the writing that it's a fine point.

Yes, a Balance for sure.

 

I'm not sure you could judge the nib by the writing -- they could have used someone else's book for the picture because it looked better.

I wouldn't be so sure that it's Richard Ormsbee licking the stamps either. They probably got a more attractive child to sit in.
