Ink Review: Diamine Sherwood Green

I truly enjoy Sherwood Green and your review is right on the spot. I've 2 colleagues in my office that have bought this ink the very same day they have seen it in one of my pens.
With Sherwood Green I've experienced some (not much) trouble in cleaning my pens. Cleaning a pen requires a little more time (a joy btw) than with other Diamine inks. Is this just me or did you share the same experience?

I didn't experience a problem cleaning out Sherwood Green from my pens, and I'm especially picky about inks not staining my converters, So I know it hasn't stained any of mine.

With C/C type pens, I use the ear bulb flush out method, and I don't remember having had a problem.

OK, now I am puzzled. Many seem to like this ink. And my bottle of Diamine Sherwood Green is a nice color, but the ink behaves badly in my pens.
The ink will clog the pen (4 of 6 that I tried), if not used daily. It seems to be the pens with narrow ink channels.
In the pens that do not clog, the ink dye will dry/accumulate in the nib slit and require the slit to be flossed every few days.
It is a nice ink, but the maintenance is getting to me.

I am trying to find one of my pens that the ink will work reliably in.

Wow! I'm amazed at this. I don't have any filled pens that I use daily, yet I haven't ever had a clogging issue with Sherwood Green.

What brands of pens are you using?

@Chrissy: I use ear bulb too and that is working fine but I've used Sherwood green in a Faber-Castell converter and I had to use a 10% bleach solution to get it properly clean as plain water left some stain on the converter walls. Nevertheless I do not find it being a problem just a little more time spent in the process. I'm a lazy person

Thanks for the review. It has made me open my bottle of Sherwood Green again.

I've filled my Pelikan with it and it's writing beautifully. I'm slightly surprised to read about clogging and cleaning issues. I'll definitely keep my eye on those aspects. Tho only issue I've had with the ink is a tiny amount of feathering and bleed through on cheap paper but I do expect those issues with most inks on poor paper. The compensation of using the ink on the poor paper is the improved drying time. On Clairefontaine it was between 15 and 20 seconds and on the cheap paper under 10 seconds. Swings and roundabouts!
