I love this ink. It's look on tomoe river or other hard Japanese papers is to Rhodia what Rhodia is to copy paper. My stubs on tomoe give me limb darkening and outlining shading while still looking like actual chalk. This ink is too high-class for mere copy stock. ;)

Beautiful review. I wish my writing was as beautiful as yours.

Hey alarickc, can you post a pic of it on the tomoe?

I'll try this weekend, but I may just bring it in person to the meet-up. School has me swamped.

Is this a new MB ink? I just went by my local MB store and they hadn't even gotten pink, yet.

I'm still trying to figure out how to list all my pens down here.

How do you get so much flex from your konrad? Mine seem pretty indifferent to my efforts.

Keep on trying to flex it gently. The Noodler's nibs need to be broken in before they'll yield a lot of line variation.

Now this is good to know! Thank you.

Don't quote me on this... it came out sometime in 2014.. and because is an LE, it will not be available through Montblanc. But because it was only last year, you have a very good chance to still find it at a decent price.

I love the review and hate it all at the same time. I just hate it because it reminds me that I don't have nearly enough of that ink to last me as long as I need it to.

I did a little research and you are correct. Somehow it slipped by without my noticing it. I didn't find any for sale through my regular sources, but I like other inks better, so not a problem. Thanks for the information.

I went to the ink cave this morning in search of something else. I came across two bottles of this. It must have slipped my mind—along with a few other things. But as I said, I have other inks that I like better, so these will remain unopened for now.
