I found that golden filled pen on my grandfather desk, could I have some information about?

 

ps there's no nib

First of all, :W2FPN:

 

Now to your pen: it's a MB safety with a gold overlay - very nice. My guess is that it's from the 1920's (or earlier) since safety pens fell out of favor once piston fillers arrived later. Check the pen to see if there's an engraving to show who did the overlay; AFAIK, MB authorized a jeweller called Sarastro to do their overlays but I've seen examples of people who had another jeweller do their pen's overlay.

 

Out of curiosity, is there a marking on the turning knob at the back?

What value do you think this pen have?

Is it a #0 ?
