Thanks a lot Frank

No problem! This is the miracle of the World Wide Web! People half way around the world can talk about a subject that both are interested in. In my case, it helps if the other person knows English.

I have a lot of fun with fountain pens and have met many nice, interesting people who share this. I have met all of these people through the internet.

I'm still trying to figure out how to list all my pens down here.

Stumbled on this late. Thank you for posting. An interesting and enjoyable report.

I have 2 Ahabs, my first ebonite pens. I like the feel of the ebonite in my hand, but both have required much tinkering to get working nicely. I'd love to buy an Indian ebonite pen which will write smoothly and wet OOTB without fuss. I think I'm going to have to wait until I visit India so I can get the pen tuned by the retailer at the shop as in your report.

I didn't realize that what I assumed was the Indian manufacturer of the Ahabs was such a state secret.
