I recently saw this FP on ebay

Before pulling the trigger wanted to ask if anyone used it before? Any opinion or suggestion?

Well, under "suggestion" you may want to consider the Hero 100 or 1000 for a similar price. Both are a fine hooded nib and by all accounts are nice pens. I have a 100 in the mail somewhere.

I had previously seen some reviews of Hero 100 / 1000 that spoke of section developing crack.

 

But looking at ebay listings again I find there is new Hero 100 with section that looks like metal section.
