Every Ink In Goulet Pen's "blues (Best Sellers)" Sample Pack

I performed a 2-factor factorial experiment using 8 blue FP inks and 6 different notebooks. I used the same Lamy Safari fine nib for each trial. Response variable was the sum of scores on a 1-to-5 scale across 4 categories: appearance, tactile experience, bleeding/ghosting, and feathering.

I learned about myself: 1) I prefer a "toothier" paper, i.e., Rhodia was too "slippery" for me in several cases, 2) I seem to like blues that are neither very dark nor very light, and 3) I'm generally not fond of super-saturated inks.

If you have similar preferences, you may find my results useful.

Can you post the larger photos?

What a good idea. Doing stats again right now. Ink and paper combos sure beats doing irrelevant stats on a non-existent year 8 math class.

What did you particularly like about the toothiness? How was it helpful?
