Pelikan Steno

Today I got a red Steno from Ebay Germany, which I ordered after reading this thread. I'm still in the process of getting used to fine nibs, but I really liked this one from the start. Thanks a lot!

One day I would like to try both an old and a new version of this pen but every time I go with the intent of purchasing one something else always captures my attention and wallet. One day. Oh yes, one day.

Few days ago I got an opportunity to test this pen. Must say, I wasn't that impressed how it wrote.

Well, I was raised on Pelikanos, so this feels like home. A Pelikano for grown-ups.

 

I like the shape - and the fact that you can hold it any way you like. No grooves or anything.

Few days ago I got an opportunity to test this pen. Must say, I wasn't that impressed how it wrote.

 

Yeah, when I got mine it definitely wasn't quite as cool as I'd gotten myself worked up for. It's all right. Last time I tried to ink it up, though, I couldn't get it to write. Not sure what's up with that. Maybe needs a good flush.
