Ink Review: Diamine Music Gift Set: Strauss

I'm currently reviewing some of my favourite Diamine inks. This is Strauss from the Diamine Music Gift set.

• Bearing in mind the paper I use is very smooth, this ink dries in 10-12 seconds.
• It flows quite wet compared with some Diamine inks, but lubricates the nib quite well.
• No start-up problems noticed. No skipping noticed.
• It is currently available as one of the gift set of 10 x 30ml glass bottles, or in single 30ml plastic refill bottles from Diamine. Neither of these has an inkwell
• Water test on the review form shows this isn't a waterproof ink.
• Diamine sell it directly to end-users on their web-site.
• It's reasonably priced.

Another one of those likable Music Gift Set inks. I guess I'll have to give myself the gift. I'm just worried about the one that looks like pea soup—Wagner, I believe.

However, I'm reliably informed that it's a darker green 'in real life.' Something along similar lines of Salamander, Safari and Racing Green. Maybe we'll be amazed

I'll be looking forward to your review. I'm glad to hear that there is another home for abandoned inks. In the past, I've just given them to my fellow Las Vegan, Amberlea. She takes good care of them, but then she puts parts of them in little plastic vials and sends them all over the world. I'm not sure if this practice constitutes ink-abuse.
