yes I guess, since tested by the manufacturer or not, you will have to fill the pen yourself. You may need to replace the silicone grease etc after you have washed the pen out to change ink colors etc. As with all things, YMMV. :)

This is one shop in Mumbai, in the heart of the hardware market, where it is available.

Next time, call the shop before going, try the number on the visting card and pls dont blame me if the phone is out of order. :) I have no idea about what the neighboring shop sells etc.

It is available in a variety of packing sizes which includes a small 50gms jar. I have bought several times and so have some other FPNers in Mumbai. Here is a pic of my jar for your reference. Before you ask, let me answer, it cost me 100rs for the 50gs jar. :)

ok. Actually i told someone to bring it too. If you get it from nearest place buy it for yourself, i will be getting mine soon. If i get two, will keep both with me as one of my friend too wants it.

BTW do send / post a scanned photo of visiting card / address of the shop, it will be useful for people who don't want to go to south mumbai

Well,

I am using silicon grease made by m-seal @ 40/-, if that helps.

Bought from a hardware store in IIT Market area.

Using this with Pilot 78G

I know about the m-seal stuff but is it good? I heard the m-seal grease becomes like mould or thing?

I am a novice in FP world and this is the first time I am doing an ED conversion. But as far as I know, silicon grease solidifies and become rubbery when it comes in contact of air.

But as of now my pen is working fine. No leakage or whatsoever. I haven't use any other silicone grease. So cannot compare with anything else.
