Oblique Fountain Pen

Looking forward to seeing the new cap design! Leather might make it too snug, judging by the behavior of the leather pen loop I made recently. Sometimes it's hard to get the pen back out, if it's a tight fit. Maybe a thin, thin schmear of hot-glue on the inside edge of the cap?

 

 

I'm sort of picturing the leather strap being able to tie. The majority of the cap is the same material as the Pen body, but somehow connect it to a bit of leather that acts lie a shoe lace or ties it down in some way. Maybe like one of those leather things that covers a hawk's head while they sit on some dude's arm?

Ooohhh, okay. I thought you meant a thin strip of leather on the inside of the cap, kind of like an interior clutch ring. I gotcha now.

Reviving this because I wanna know how your current prototype is doing, Finalist! And if anything else has come up in getting this made small-scale-commercially. (I saw an oblique style ballpoint--ugh--recently on Pinterest and reminded me of your pen.)
