Yeah, Pisuke2005 is good. So is e-sell_jp. Their prices aren't rock-bottom like Pisuke, but they are amazing to deal with. An hour after you order, there's a message in your ebay inbox showing you your exact package. Four days later, it's on your doorstep. This has happened all 3 times I've ordered from them.

Seriously good. Among international sellers that I've dealt with, only IguanaSell in Spain is that thorough and fast.

On ebay I've purchased several pens from 'pisuke2005'. (Incl. some high-dollar pens)

Very courteous seller, though it may take a day or two to get an email response. And sometimes he doesn't ship right away. (My impression is that it's not his day job. In fact sometimes he 'closes' his ebay store when he's not taking orders.)

'Cool-japan' on ebay was great for a couple of pen purchases, but once I had a post-purchase issue with my order that was my fault. As such, I was black listed from ordering from them again. A little aggressive but having sold on ebay myself I know how it goes ...just a word of warning.

I had a similar experience, just bought a Pilot hapless from Cool-Japan, arrived end of last week and the nib was bent. I'm talking by 90 degrees. He refunded the money within 24 hours but has blacklisted me. "Vendor not accepting bid from you" is the message I get. Pity really he's got some good stuff I want. But Hey Ho! will look somewhere else!

That's unfortunate. I always keep in mind my own experience as a seller (not fountain pens, but other types of products) where I'd end up with buyers who are very needy, ask lots of questions, procrastinate payment, and so on. So I've black listed a few buyers in my day ...but it's still kind of frustrating being black listed myself.

Oh well, luckily there are other quality Japanese sellers. On this very thread I'm seeing a lot of viable merchants that I'll look into next time.

I know what you mean - 2 million questions , dithering, delayed payments and then suddenly decline to buy, grrrr! I emailed him about the block after posting it here. Received an email this AM stating it was a mistake and he has removed the block. I'm posting this here, to give credit where it is due. It was a fine and prompt deal from Cool Japan, more than satisfied.

Nice ...unfortunately I emailed months after my blacklisting, asking to be unblocked as I'm ready to "Buy it Now" ...never received a response.

Oh well. If anything I need obstacles to keep me from buying too many pens :-)
