Sailor Pen & Message Cigar

Haha we are really inky twins! My New Year resolution is also 2 Sailor inks per month and I've already spent the quota for June! I'm waiting for an Onago-iro Honey (which I hope can make a nice substitute for Apricot which I've always wanted to own but never had the chance!) Apart from that I think I'm on hiatus for the moment. I've looked at some Kobe samples but they haven't made great impressions on me yet. What other Kobe inks do you own? Maybe I'll like them as well :D

Also I don't think you'll be disappointed with Entoloma virescens. It's quite a nice colour!

Haha I love that we have the same ink addiction pattern! :) The Onago Iro Honey looked amazing in Saskia's writing samples. I don't have too many Kobes yet; I have #7, #13, #14, and #37. The #7 is one of my favorite Sailors; it's got a generous flow, feels smooth, has loads of sheen but no nib dry out and has been really easy to clean. I def need to post a review of it when my class schedule quiets down. #14 I love when used in a wet pen where it becomes one of my all-time favorite blues. #13 I like a lot and has great shading but is a color I don't use too often . And #37 I don't like so much... :P I'm happy to hear you like Entoloma Virescens; I'm even more excited to try it now!

I'm considering this limited purple. The box is very attractive.

Nice ink... Looks a lot like Yama Guri...

Huh? ... Yama-Guri is brown...

Edit: Ooops... just realized you meant Cigar and not Sailor Monet above.

This is one that I don't think I will be getting, so I would love to see a review if you get one!

I'm still saying I may have been really partially responsible for this "mess" :3

If you are responsible for us discovering these great inks then I THANK YOU!

First I received four of the Bung Box inks, then Cigar & just HAD to order two more Bung Boxes when I saw Dandyism & Ink of the Witch were available at Vanness.

So thank you for your part to make us aware of these inks!

Finally, a bottle is on the way to me so I can now ditch all my attempts at mixing this remarkably complex ink.

Sadly it was the last bottle and my source swore me to secrecy.

Sorry.

(Happy to send you a sample when it arrives. PM me details)

Saves me the trouble of asking for your source. :P

Genuinely sorry.

I asked

"Thanks so much. You are a star.

Would you like me to publicise this to friends on FPN? I know a few are in love with this ink"

But was asked not to.

You asked, on our behalf, if you could note the source ( you were certainly not obligated to ask)--for that, I'm grateful. :notworthy1:

Enjoy the bottle and love it a little extra (if possible) for those of us still left pining still.

Ink, a drug.

Is it possible that your source might be the same as my source? Patiently waiting. B)

No. You're source is a different source, but I've a feeling they might be getting it from my source.
