As impatient as I usually am......I will be thrilled whenever the inks arrive!! They are such wonderful inks and the wait is so worth it!

 

Can't control the entire process once it's in the hands of the USPS!! (Not my favorite people lately!)

That would certainly explain why a month or two ago it took over two weeks to get three packages that should have taken 2 days. All of the tracking numbers were "preparing for shipment" until they suddenly arrived without a delivery scan.

 

Unfortunately news, but out of your control. Until then, we'll just have to pretend alc isn't gloating about receiving the UK inks.

Not sure if this applies to many here, but I can be patient on this particular purchase. I've been on a buying binge since the year began, and I'm happy I will have a moment or two of peace (read no spending) before the next round.

Although, if I can get my KWZI inks and some pens and papers to play with while in jail, maybe keep a diary while I'm in there, I think I might be able to endure the sentence! (Am I understating the hardships of jail or overstating how much fun I can get from those bottles of ink? Hmmm...)

Fountain pens might be seen as a weapon with the sharp pointy tip and all. Probably better stay on the outside.

Fountain pens might be seen as a weapon with the sharp pointy tip and all. Probably better stay on the outside.

 

I've thought about that, actually! The answer is: stub nibs! Although, I guess they could suspect me of wanting to grind it to a point... Glass dip pens are out too, I could break it to get a sharp point (as if I'd ever ruin a glass pen like that!)... ah, brush pens perhaps? Could also use one of those rollerball pens that can be loaded with fountain pen ink.

 

I can now say I've even thought of what I'd do to write if I was put in jail. Now that's being prepared for everything! I like my fine-nibbed Platinum Cool, though, so just for that, I'll stay out of trouble.

 

P.S.: I've just received a couple of Organics Studio bottles I ordered, so I got that to help waiting for the KWZI bottles! I got Emily Dickinson and Jane Austen, for the curious. Love them both, can't wait to ink them up and take them on a real test drive (one color a week, gotta finish this week with my Iroshizuku Take-sumi sample)!

 

P.P.S: I have a question for Konrad; how many bottles of KWZI inks have been made in total so far? I need to know for bragging purposes

If you stamped the bottle #1/#xxx you could quadruple you investment.
