Kwzi Group Buy 3 - Here We Go Again... (North America And Uk) !

Cyber6

Recommended Posts

I am sure I must be in the second shipment because I paid both invoices recently. Long after the first round of communications were relayed here for 1st round members. I am sure yours will be soon. I am just excited since this will be my first Kwizi ink.

I don't even mind so much if I don't care for an ink after receipt......I just "gotta see for myself!" I recently received a bottle that I hated. There were no swabs or writing samples available because it was just going to be introduced.........I added a bottle to the order I was placing. Got it & filled the pen twice believing I hadn't shaken the bottle well enough. BECAUSE it was NOT anything similar to the color that had been described to me. The second shake was a REAL good one & there was no difference of course. When these things happen I just try to think of them as lottery tickets that aren't winners! (I have never purchased one but have seen others do so.) AND as they say: "you can't win if you don't play!" So I prefer to play the "INK LOTTERY!"

BP - the very best definition of the lottery (at least the state-supported ones): a tax on people who are bad at math... :-D

Just wanted to thank everyone involved for a smooth and gratifying purchase of lovely inks. To give others what to expect with packaging, follow the unraveling of the ninja-packaged goods.

(1) Unboxing. Note how all the bottles are securely wrapped in miles of tape and bubble wrap.

fpn_1429634049__kwzi_g3_ubx_01.jpg

(2) Like layers of an onion, more layers are revealed. The bottles were securely bundled together within the outer protective layer.

fpn_1429634065__kwzi_g3_ubx_02.jpg

(3) Individually foam layer wrapped bottles released from bundle.

fpn_1429634074__kwzi_g3_ubx_03.jpg

(4) BUT we're not done yet! Each bottle encased in a layer of ninja wrap!

fpn_1429634089__kwzi_g3_ubx_04.jpg

(5) Finally! The bottles released and naked in their glory! Note the nice touch of tape around the cap. Ninjas are always prepared for anything! :ninja:

Thanks again. The packaging is most appreciated to insure each of us receives our anticipated inks safe and sound!

Yes, thanks for the great packaging. There was a small amount of leakage from one of the bottles--it had to be rinsed off, but the ink didn't get on anything else. Good work!

I just received my box containing a bottle of IG Green #1.

After digging for about 15 minutes with power tools ;-) I finally reached the bottle (well done with the packing!)and inked up my Creaper.

Lovely green. Great saturation, great flow. I'm looking forward to using it and learning how to use an iron gall.

Thank you Konrad and all who made this buy possible.

Don't forget, please do reviews - even small reviews - and post them in Th-Inking Outside the Bottle. The time will come (we hope) when Konrad may want to become a professional ink maker. Your reviews help him improve his product.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

To "KWIZI" You have made perhaps three of my favourite inks & I am grateful! (And I still have ANOTHER bottle to try!)

For "CYBER 6" Thank you for allowing us to experience this ink!

And "CERTAINLY not least"

ZONIGUANA

My hat is "tipped" to you for allowing me to GASP @ the marvel of "NINJA" packaging! My four bottles of ink

were "without blemish" NOT a drop of ink left the bottle in it's travels. And my sincere appreciation for your efforts @ maintaining the intricate system of payment & shipping of such "securely" packed inks. "Them folks @ Goulets got 'NUTHIN on YOU!"

(Even if 4 bottles of this ink aren't sufficient qualification for entry in the "KoolKids Klub" I will be content to "sit & watch respectfully from the other side of the fence" since I have experienced such "ink joy!")

Was excited to unpack (sharp blade was helpful) my two bottles and get them into pens. Just beginning to buy bottled ink and feel lucky to have the chance to experience KWZ inks. Got GummiBerry and Brown #2 and really pleased with the way they look and feel coming out of the pens onto the paper. Many thanks to those who did all the work to make this buy possible.

Package arrived. Assembled required implements to open.

Exacto knife. Check.

Surgical scissors. Check

High-powered blue-green industrial laser. Check

Acetylene cutting torch. Check

Low yield thermonuclear bomb. Check

Thirty minutes and one small mushroom cloud later, four Kwzi bottles of ink sitting on table. Small amount of leakage from one bottle, a few drops at most.

Note: Added bonus. After using low yield thermonuclear device to open packaging bottles now glow in dark. I will never lose them in a dark room and they will make a dandy night light during hurricane season when the power goes off.

Special note to Department of Homeland Security: All comments concerning aforementioned bomb done tongue firmly in cheek. Please don't arrest me but, if you must, allow me four bottle of ink, pen, and paper in the cell.

Thank you to all who helped make this happen. Justin, look for a box in the mail next week.

Honestly, folks, I don't deserve the ninja status. That's pure KWZI action! I repackage, invoice, track and ship. Cyber6 is the brains behind the organization, ensuring everything goes smoothly. Konrad is, of course, the genius behind the ink formulation, and the true ninja packer to get the ink safely here!

No need for the imperial death star to open? Sigh...

Thanks, kestrel, for the grins and the package; tough to type that way, but, I'll keep an eye out.

This was hilarious! Thanks for posting. I must get me some of those tools. Maybe not the nuke, but after the first shipment (from Group Buy #2) I definitely need to consider adding the acetylene torch to my toolkit. ("But really, dear! I NEED it! And they'll probably get upset if I "borrow" equipment from Hack Pittsburgh, since I'm not a member....")

On another, more serious note, I haven't seen any tracking info for MY shipment yet -- and half the bottles are for a friend of mine who wants to play with ink washes. I want to be able to get her the bottles she piggybacked ordered onto my order -- so I can get reimbursed!

Oh yeah. And I REALLY want my bottle of IG Mandarin, too! (Not to mention the other colors I ordered....)

Ruth, please check your spam folders - when the shipping label is generated via paypal's invoicing, tracking information is automatically sent to the recipient. Your label was generated on 16 April, and then re-generated for 18 April. You should have the second notification somewhere in that time frame.

I have a rather blinding migraine today.

So I didn't open the package-but I wanted to let you know my ink arrived safely.

Thank you Claudie for organizing this and Justin thank you for mailing (and packing with ninjas)!!

Dobrze dziękuję Konrad!

Nope. I've been pretty good about checking email (actually fairly OCD about it...). When there's mail in the "Bulk Mail" folder, there will an indicator with the new messages. Roughly 90% of the time they're forwards from Facebook when friends post an update or a new photo.

I just checked ALL my mail folders for posts related to stuff like Paypal and online orders. I've definitely gotten both the invoices, because I've gotten the automated responses from Paypal. I'm seeing the original invoice from Justin (dated 4/16) but not the re-issued one. So I'm now wondering whether the address was a copy and paste into the "To" file or typed new, in which case there could be a typo.

It wouldn't be the first time that's happened to me. I once was sent an invitation to a baby shower that was supposed to be happening at a meeting I was going to anyway. Only I didn't see it -- the sender mistyped my name and it went to some real estate agent in Florida. I had AOL back then and looked up to see if there was someone with a similar user name on AOL -- and yup, there was. So I asked the woman to forward any odd looking messages from people she didn't know on to me on the grounds that they might have spelled "Morrisson" wrong....

Yeah, I know -- it's not spelled like the pen company -- or the lead singer for the Doors for that matter ; in fact we don't know anyone who's not within three or four generations of my husband's immediate family who spells the name with that way (i.e., with the double "s" Supposedly it's the Scottish spelling. Even though it isn't clear my husband's great grandfather *was* Scottish (supposedly he was at least part German; he ran away from home -- where that was is anyone's guess -- to Texas, to become a cowboy at around age 12). And even though it isn't clear that the two "s" spelling IS actually Scottish at all -- it's not a header form in Black's Surnames of Scotland....

But I'm somewhat comforted by the fact that mostly people misspell it the same way (i.e., with one "s"). My maiden name is "Payes" (what it was pre-Ellis Island is anyone's guess). My mother thought "Oh, it's only five letters -- what could people possibly do to screw that up...." She very quickly found out.... :headsmack:

My two IG's, Blue #4 and Green-Gold arrived today. The Blue #4 is very free flowing and enjoyable, but the IG Green-Gold is stunning. I have a feeling I'll be going through a great deal of this in my personal correspondence.
