Oh wow! Just got mine this morning and alas, no time to take a photo - but it's gorgeous. Lovely dark blue ebonite. And came with a rather nice surprise :-) I won't spoil the fun for others.

So, my Onyx arrived yesterday!!!! With a wonderful surprise (I will let all receive their pens, before showing it)

 

It is a beautiful pen, with a magnificent night blue shade, which becomes more blue/green when exposed to bright light.

 

Superbly polished ebonite which, I regret, was unable to photographe properly. Please apologize for the photos.

 

The #6 Scmidt nib is a steel, firm F nib. I like it - but I use quite often firm nibs, so... I will smooth it a little, but that is a personal preference, of course.

I did but I haven't received it yet. I understood that they've only just been shipped to us, so it will be a while yet before pictures. I'm also still waiting for my blue one... any day now, I hope!

Received the pen today! It's a beaut! Looks great on paper too with the Schmidt B nib paired with R & K Scabiosa. I'm pleasantly surprised at how smooth the nib is.

Still waiting for the red one. Once that one reaches my hands, I will post pictures of the pair... one clipped, one clipless.
