Does anyone know how to remove the nib and/or feed on the Sniper? I'm trying to replace a nib on mine. Due to the hooded section, I'm not sure if the assembly is screwed on, or that I have to knock out the feed/nib. Thanks for any advice/clue.

i dont think so that's possible.. best bet will be to contact ASA pens and ask for way forward

The Sniper has screw in nib units. The body is three pieces: the barrel, the hood, & a connector threaded on both sides. You need to unscrew the hood first. Then, the nib unit can be unscrewed.

Just got mine today. Clear barrel looks great. Very impressed.attachicon.gif20150420_210426.jpg

I love seeing everyone's pens and writing samples. A very good looking pen.

Totally love the photos of the pen J-MM posted . I just love it !

I am just learning about the group buy and how it works.

If I read some of the posts correctly, this pen is available for purchase from the ASA website ?

I'd love to go check the site out and see if I want to buy one. Although, it might be a dangerous site for me to visit.

I will watch for any future group buys of the ASA products :)

I enjoyed visiting the website so many lovely pens  It would be difficult to select only one

All the options.. like trying to order a pizza and trying to decide what toppings you want ;)

Looks like I need to save up my monthly "pen allowence"

Or once again.. Beg for a raise :notworthy1: "I need a raise"

Answer... :lticaptd:

I'll watch and wait with the others

Is the connector left or right hand threaded on the hood end? I am having trouble unscrewing the hood and do not want to use heat since it may ruin the finish.

Is it possible to get an all transparent acrylic version of this pen with an acrylic section/hood? The transparent section option is not available on the website.
