New M600 White Tortoise Price?

Hi all, I've been reading the forum for quite some time and decided to make my first post here.

I would like to let go of my "as new as it gets" pelikan m600 white tortoise with a fine nib that has only been inked once and i am struggling to find a price guide for it on the classified section. Does $375 seem outrageous for such a pen with complete box and papers? The pen is just so beautiful i can't bare to use it!

From what I've seen from regularly watching eBay and other sales sites, I think your asking price is fair. I would certainly start there and you can always consider lowering it if you don't get any traction. Beautiful pen, sorry you have to part with it. Good luck with your sale.

PELIKAN - Too many birds in the flock to count. My pen chest has proven to be a most fertile breeding ground.

Try listing it here in Classifieds first, as you will get more reasonable offers than if you tried eBay or a local used goods site. I've also had decent success selling more inexpensive pens on the subreddit /r/Pen_Swap, but I'd be more iffy doing business with such a valuable pen.

I wish you luck in selling your pen and I also hope you use the funds to buy a pen that you're ready to use everyday (if that's what you're in to, of course!).

thanks a lot on all the valuable inputs! i do wish to get a m800 or 600 in green stripes after selling this pen off. i feel much more at ease to use a normal production pen (if that makes sense at all)

Think really carefully before you let it go. The green 600 and 800 will probably always be available either used or new and you may come to regret letting the tortoise out of your hands. Good luck either way. vinper

+ 1. I use my White Tortoise as an everyday writer. It is a beautiful pen and maybe the more use it the more comfortable you will become with it.
