Muji Notebooks

I wanted to buy some muji notebooks, hearing that the notebooks are FP friendly. The problem is that there are two types of notebooks. The recycled and plantation notebooks. Which ones are better?

Plantation Paper:

Recycled:

and

Thanks!

I have had very good success with the recycled notebooks.

I almost always use a Stub/Italic Broad Nib and have no

bleed-thru issues. They have also faired well with wet flowing

nibs.

The recycled ones I have used are the Passport size and the Pocketbook size. There are/were 2 versions of the pocketbook. More pages or less but same as best I could tell.

Root around you might find others that could be useful. Doesn't seem like everything shows up on search pages.

So, because of your post post I decided to try these out. I'm completely loving them.

I bought mine here http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JHHMYVK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

As the review indicate, the cover is rather flimsy, but I love it. Take that into account (if you care).

The paper is great, and rather cheap compared to some others.

I have several of the double ring recycled notebooks from Muji in use and haven't experienced a single problem or bleed-through. I love their sketchbooks!

Have used these for a while and I like them because they take the ink well and because they are thin and I use them (sometime several of them) for project note, comments etc.

I got these from Amazon and glued prettier paper onto the cover.

Then the cover buckled.

They're very flimsy and should be used on a desk or another hard surface.

I have enough bleed-through that I can't write on both sides of the paper.

Not sure I'd get more.
