There's a pen up on ebay branded as a "Commander" (not a Commando); supposed to be Danish. It has a very pretty nib and a very Forties design. Has anyone heard of this maker?

According to the list of Brands Wimg has compiled (pinned topic) the Commanders were from the Netherlands.

I do not know where he got the reference.

I have two pens marked "Commander"; one looks a bit like a striped Parker Vacumatic and has a 14K "Osmi" (sic) nib. The other is black celluloid, has a button filler and a 14K Degussa nib.

I just bought a Commander fountain pen today. Definately 1930's or 40's at the latest. Looking for more information on pen and company. Nib states "Commander Pen - made in USA

I inherited some old pens pens, from my grandads bookshop, marked Commander. They look very 50s to me. Maybe 40s...Im very new to fountain pens. But I have 50+ of them of different brands and Im trying to identify them all. Dating them and so on. The commanders are all unused with a little belt on from the factory brand an nib quality. The nib says 14 ct 1st quality osmi-ridium. The bookshoop was in Norway, so close to Denmark (or Netherland) as mentioned earlier in the post. I would love to know more if anyone knows more. Or are interested in buying too I guess. I can see if its possible to add photos
