Quick View Of Penmanship

I decided to write a quick paragraph, I pen this pretty fast. The ink I was using wasn't flowing smoothly from the nib. So it was slightly difficult to maintain control, but I felt I did pretty good. Tell me what you guys think. Here is some vintage writing from C.P. Zaner considered the best penman to every live.post-120266-0-48122700-1423030531_thumb.jpgpost-120266-0-63780900-1423030602_thumb.jpgpost-120266-0-00879100-1423030672_thumb.jpg

Wow! That sure was pleasant to read; you shouldn't read cursive quickly.

(I think you forgot to cross the "t" in "to" after "heart".)

Thanks for the positive comment, I know I shouldn't write so quickly but I like to do it that way. The ink on the nib wasn't flowing smoothly. On the word heart, you said at the end letter t was not cross. I hardly every cross my t's at the end of each word that end's with t. Their are 3 different ways pen the word t. I provided an illustrating on how it's pen. I wrote the word heart 3 times to show how it's done. First one is common where the t is cross, on the second one the t is pen differently you only write this style if the word ends with t. I always do it this way. 3rd one is written if the word starts with letter t but this is optional I do write it this way. Thanks for your input, I hope this helps.post-120266-0-48948200-1423041666_thumb.jpgpost-120266-0-60906700-1423041718_thumb.jpgpost-120266-0-17067500-1423041763_thumb.jpg

No, no...I write my t's at the end of words the same way.

I'm referring to the "t" in the word "to" after the word "heart" - 10th line down, 6th word over.

Your writing is quite pleasant! Take your time and it'll be even neater. You could also pay a bit more attention to the slant (in particular for the descenders), but otherwise it's nice work you're doing :)

Thanks for the comment.. I'll pay more attention to my slants. What you do mean by descenders?

The part of the letter that go below the baseline... as in 'p' and 'y'
