Actually that sounds like the entire 3 years I was statiobed in Baumholder---cloudy, cold..lol.

I'm about eight miles south of Highland, on a small farm just north of Trenton.
Also went to SIUE.

Highland has grown a lot since then, but The Lory is still there.

Wow--yes it is. I graduated st Paul High school in '80. Was projectionist 78 to 83, and manager 83 to 85. Then in 86 entered service.

I'm an '82 graduate of Fluvanna County HS (Virginia)... Go FLUCOs!! An '87 graduate of VMI. I entered the Army in '88 and escaped in 2000. Worked in the motorcycle and automotive industry for about 18 years after that (as a mechanic or Service Manager). Since then I've done security work in the hospitality industry and now as a government (military) contractor. Currently working to transition to another government contractor position that is in line with the Intelligence work I did in the Army. I've had an exciting and interesting life. Have seen a lot of the world. Vocationally, I really couldn't ask for much more (it would have been nice to serve another decade+ in the Army, but it was during a draw-down). And I have a baby granddaughter. There's not much that's better than that! Oh! And today is my birthday. Yay!
