Very happy with how 122E turned out... Now we know how to do the FPD theme, next year I'll be in time.

The FPD one seems especially nice. All the elements so well executed seems to come together almost perfectly.

Inspired by them wonderful swags of FPD2014 , I experimented ...

Cutting out the logo needed a lot of patience.

The logo is small.

and breaks easily ,

I learnt along the way that there is a sequence to cut , to avoid breakage.

 

I decided to try on 160g heavy paper - not thicker, becos I needed to cut easily and at one pass.

 

I was much relieved when they came out fine ..

I planned to carry out an emboss ...

becos the logo is well designed and an emboss will work fine as per past examples recently...

This bookcloth is interesting, the fabric looks like silk.

I doubt it is real silk though.

It has red strands amidst the yellows.

The yellow is more mango than lemon yellow.

There is also a matching fabric with yellow strands amidst the reds which I will feature next.
