15Ml Iroshizuku Available In Usa

I know, could not believe how fast I got the shipping notice either. How do you like the Yama-budo? I am not a purple person and it is why I did not choose that color. The Fuyu-gaki, I had a sample of from Goulet Pen Company, spilled most of it on my mattress cover, which is white, but I managed yesterday to at least put some of the rest in my pen. Surprisingly, think I like the color more than I thought I would. I thought it would be a weak orange. It is rather a nice orangy/red.

I like yama-budo a lot; there's not a lot out there that can compare to it. But, I don't think it's very purple. It's more red spectrum fuchsia (maybe violet) to me, where purple has to have a blue lean to me for it to be "purple."

 

I didn't think I'd like fuyu-gaki because of how bright it is, but I like it in small doses. It was a gift, as I probably wouldn't have ordered a full-size bottle of it, but who knows. I'm looking forward to the yu-yake as a more mellow counterpart.

I'll put yama-budo on the list, maybe start with a sample tube from Gouletpencompany. I am a red lover, so anything which has a tinge of red or is red I am all for at least trying it out. I did not think I would like fuyu-gaki after I purchased the sample. The color is bright and definitely an eye catcher on my white mattress pad! I liked it when I put some of it in one of my fountain pens. I don't think it would be my signature or one I would use on a regular basis, but for a change from red, I think I would not mind it. It will be interesting to know what you think of yu-yake. I tend to go for the brighter colors and vaguely thought that one was a bit subdued. Let me know when you get it how you like it.

I wanted to let you all know my order of Iroshizuku arrived today. My samples of Gouletpencompany also arrived at the same time. The Iroshizuku mini set reminds me of when I purchased a couple of high end pens, the presentation is really nice. It arrives in a plain white outer box. When you open the box, which you will need a box cutter or something, they really secure the box so that it can't be tampered with by accident or intention. There is an internal sleeve which the set comes in, and you slide sleeve off the pretty little presentation, which feels like a nice weight plastic case. The cover lifts off to reveal what the picture shows you. You will love keeping the inks in or using it for something else.The case has Iroshizuku on its cover as you can see from the picture. I am in love with these babies already. I am about to clean out some pens and play with my new inks. Yet, I wanted to share with you how they will arrive. It only took three days exactly for me to receive them. You can track them, they will send you a tracking number. Enjoy your weekend, Got to go play now....

Yes, they are glass bottles. They remind me of the full size bottles, yet in a different shape of course and smaller. The casing they come in comes out and you could probably use the casing for something else, not that anyone would want to they look so cute.

Those are a great size for some of the colors I wanted but wouldn't use too often. I love their inks and had no idea they made the smaller bottles.

Can anybody tell me if they still have that little dip in the middle of their smaller 15 mL bottles like they do in the full size ones? The little dip that helps you get more out of the bottle when the ink levels get low.

No, these are not shaped in any way like the full size 50ml bottles. (see pictures provided) the size you see in the pictures are what the 15ml bottles look like. The ink fills the entire glass bottle. If your pen fits inside of the bottle, you will pretty much will get every drop of ink in the bottle, except perhaps the last drops without a syringe or eye dropper.

Out of ku-jaku oh darn, guess I'll just have to get some syo-ro instead and...four other bottles.

I just saw where they have sold out of several of the colors. I am getting a bottle of Fuyu-Gaki. I asked to be notified for two others which have sold out. I guess the word got out about the smaller size and there was a run on Iroshizuku inks

They have several of the colors currently sold out and on reorder. They do come in threes, so it seems possible, if all the 24 colors are in at one time. Off the top, I calcluted at $25.00 per 3 selections, it would come up to $200.00. Now, that would be an Iroshizuku aficionado's dream for sure!

You are more than welcome. I have not opened the ones I received yet. May sound funny, but they are reminding me of frankencense and myrrh. I have dabbled with my samples of ancient copper and Audacious red. Like the Audacious red, ancient copper not so much, too dark.

Not yet. I don't believe they have been on the market here in the USA long enough. Recently, they added a couple new colors I think, the black is very new and I think the gray selection. They now have 24 colors in total and I don't believe they started with that many. So far, they have not discontinued, although our rush on Vanness's new 15ml has caused several colors to now be sold out, they have reordered them though.
