15Ml Iroshizuku Available In Usa

Hello,

I can't remember where I saw the query, but someone wrote that Iroshuzuku inks were in smaller bottles, only available in Japan. I wanted to let anyone interested, they are also available here in USA. They are 15ml and Vanness in Little Rock, AR has them in stock as of today. If you go to the Classified section, you will see the contact information. I am thrilled since it means I can try some hues I would not want to get a full 50ml, and would want more than 2ml, which Gouletpencompany offers. Just thought I would pass along the information.

You read as excited as I was when I read the news in the classified section. Jumped on the telephone immediately and could hardly place my order due to the excitement. I just got the Azalea full bottle 50ml Saturday. When I saw Vanness was offering the smaller 15ml bottle I was thrilled. I ordered three bottles, two of them I would not have considered purchasing full bottles. the Peacock and a green color, not the dark green, a grass green or yellow green color I think. The third bottle is one I had a full bottle of and by accident discarded.

I agree with you, but it would be nice to try a couple of different colors, if only to play with them. At $10.00 per bottle or $25.00 for three choices, getting three bottles is a bit more manageable than buying only one of one color. I was just looking on Amazon and saw some place in Japan was offering a slim pickings of the smaller bottles, three of the same kind and about two of the three selections in variety; none of them appealed to me. I decided to order a couple of samples from gouletpencompany to appease my thirst. Then, saw on the Classified section Vanness was offering them and called and they said they have all 24 colors. I am thrilled with the idea. The Momiji did not agree with my Pelikans, by mistake I discarded almost an entire bottle of it upon moving from one place to another. I ordered a small bottle of it today, along with the peacock color and I think a yellow green one, so I won't feel as badly.

I am so glad. I hope the person who asked weeks ago about them being available in Japan and wondered whether they were also going to be available here in the USA sees they are now available. I placed an order yesterday evening. I have never purchased from Vanness before. I placed my order yesterday evening, near 6pm, they have already mailed the order out and it is on its way to me.(they sent it out priority and provided a tracking number) I'll try to post to let you know when they arrive. They are not far in terms of distance between States so it should be only a couple of days.

I don't know if I was that person but I was wondering too, was so happy about this I jumped on it too. I could never justify buying a whole bottle of Ina-ho and yu-yake and 15ml is the perfect amount. Also impressed with the fast shipping!

I wouldn't want to do the 2-3 ml for $2 or whatever it is that Goulet charges. While still not cheap, a $10 ink purchase is easier to justify. I have a couple of 15 ml samples in Nalgene bottles of Akkerman Shocking Blue and Voorhout Violet - had a total of 30 ml each. Haven't quite finished off 15 ml of each - and have had both over a year.

Same for me. I am expecting from Goulet 4ml of the Momiji and 2ml of two additional ink samples. I ordered the ink samples from Goulet earlier in the day before finding out about the 15ml bottles of Iroshizuku. I used to have a collection of red inks only. Believe that collection lasted more years than I care to admit. I would love to be able to maybe do what being able to have a smaller bottle allows and that is to maybe come out of my comfort zone and try some other colors of their line I would not want to invest much money. Also, $2.50, which is what Goulet charges for their sample tube and shipping of I think about $2.32, at least this way, you get the mini feel of the full experience of Iroshizuku.

I think I got the one which is green/yellow and the one which is a peacock hue and Momiji. I can never remember the actual names, just the colors they are suppose to resemble.

I think the bamboo green/yellow is Chiku-rin, which I like but is close to Diamine Meadow and I have an 80ml bottle of that already. I ordered Momiji too! Lovely red. I could never pull the trigger on a full size bottle since I already have Sailor Jentle Morinda and the pinky-red from R&K, but a 15ml bottle of Momiji was too good to pass up.

I know, could not believe how fast I got the shipping notice either. How do you like the Yama-budo? I am not a purple person and it is why I did not choose that color. The Fuyu-gaki, I had a sample of from Goulet Pen Company, spilled most of it on my mattress cover, which is white, but I managed yesterday to at least put some of the rest in my pen. Surprisingly, think I like the color more than I thought I would. I thought it would be a weak orange. It is rather a nice orangy/red. I may put it on my list for someday. Like you, I too had placed an order of samples with Goulet Pen Company, before finding out about Vanness having the 15ml size available. As a result, I have more ink coming, either in sample size or 15ml for my own good. Envision me now trying to write profusely with each pen in my rotation/collection in order to use up before new ink arrives. Momiji is a nice red. It is not a red-red, but interesting enough to be in the red category; a nice variation. There was an old thread about Vanness I read. I was tempted to take a road trip when the season changes to visit. They are perhaps the rarest of rare actual pen stores left. Used to live in NYC and Joon was my favorite from the beginning, they are gone. Yet, it would take about 14 hours to get from where I live to Vanness. I'll put that on my bucket list.
