Do your drawings favor any particular topic ?

Hi, Sasha,

 

Well, for me drawing is a practice. So it is a way for me to express myself, but also a way to process and observe the world around me. I keep a sketch book as opposed to making actual paintings, mostly. So I'm not a professional artist selling my work or anything like that. I am more of a journal keeper, and a serious hobbyist. And my drawing is also a way to just have fun.

 

So I try to stick to subjects which I really love. I love nature and landscape. I also love to draw from the imagination. And I like to draw subjects, and in various styles, of pop culture, especially Polynesian Pop and Kawaii.
