Everything came undone and they are drying. The only casualty was, for some strange reason, a tiny spider who jumped/landed in the water.

 

I've ordered a sac, talc, and the shellac. Once they arrive, this will be my first tiny repair /crosses fingers.

Good for you.

So far ALL the black hard rubber desk pens I have, have been very reluctant to let go of the section.
