How Many Pens Do You Own?

I have never ever sold any of my pens in the 35 - 40 years histry of my pen collection. I cant even imagine parting ways with my pens for money. It is either keep it or gift it to a loved one. No sale at all. Dunno but it is a kind of sacrillege , at least , to me.

I'm so glad to hear that as I thought it was just me and I was being silly. I have way too many pens but I can't bare to sell any. I regularly give pens & inks to friends/family but I like to know they're going to good homes.

Since january, (2015), I have purchased more than 50 pens. So I have to recount in order to be able to tell the exact number of my pens. Some other time , God willing.

It was 14, then back down to 7 ... soon to be 8 with 1 on the way ... and i was telling myself that i need down sizing to 5 max

Fewer than 50, possibly fewer than 40. Not counting the memento or souvenir pens, then around 20.

I was up to about 40, but I've cut back to 27, and I'm still on a roll. However, I'm not really looking at the total number as much as I am the brands. I'm cutting back to just a few brands. Getting rid of Sheaffers, Parkers, Danitrio, and haven't quite decided about TWSBIs yet.

Hope all turns to be good pens. Purchased all from a vintage pen shop in Quetta - the capital of Balochistan Province - through good offices of a good friend of mine there. I am currently at 52 with another 4 in the mail. I too have a storage issue coming up in a bit - will probably have 2 or 3 slots left after the four come in. I will also stop then. No really, I mean it! I'm sure if I say it enough times I will start believing that myself!

Probably about 10 and 3 more on the way, But I also have sold 3 so my collection is slowly growing as I purchase pens with the money I get from selling them...

I stopped counting. I wished I never had changed jobs in 2008 I would have never started this pen hobby if I stayed at my last job. I don't drink booze [sober since Oct.'87 ], never smoked, and no drugs so what does a person do with there extra money.

Started with one Parker Jotter and now I'm a Parker pen addict and it does not help that I live near the birthplace of the Parker Pen Company. Always on the hunt for the next Parker to add to the collection [ hoard ].
