These are great pics! Maybe somebody can take similar comparison pics of Lamy 2000 nibs?

Well, I finally got my Lamy 2000 with a M nib from the latest Massdrop. What a difference!!! The M nib is glassy smooth and has a very large sweet spot. I can write with the pen while holding it almost vertically like a ballpoint, which I find rather odd for a FP.

From my very limited experience with Lamy 2000 nibs I would tend to agree with the description in the original post. I have found modern F and B nibs to be "straight" while the M nib is definitely "rounded".

This and that other thread where the wife gifted her husband with an "A" nibbed pen,

Where is that old Black MK that I threw in the back of a drawer because I found it so boring? It's around here somewhere ...

Anyway, as I understand it, Lamy now makes all their M nibs in almost the same 'roundness' as the MK, when they reconfigured everything a bit a few years ago.

I can verify that I have 1 F nib that behaves kind of like that.

But it writes more like a nib with a little bit of flex than a stub. Because I can get some pretty fine upstrokes with it.

And my M does do a mono-line.

I have not tried my B nib...yet.

It seems, that now, all medium nibs (school pens nibs) are MK nibs, very round and stiff, perfect for school children.

Is it fair for an intelligent and family oriented mammal to be separated from his/her family and spend his/her life starved in a concrete jail?
