Also, Sterling has improved radically since I let it sit in the pen for two days.

I'll add some posts.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Hope we can get some of that KWZI #4 Blue on the next group buy. I need to get over my fear of Private Reserve inks and get some more Tanzanite. I had a bottle of it last year, but threw it out because it seemed so dry. I need to try it in some of my wet Pelikans.

Rationalizing pen and ink purchases since 1967.

What was the dilution? Full strength is dry as a bone in my Jinhao still. Definitely need to add something to make it flow better. Maybe I'll try soap.

Steve, check page one of the thread. I really tried this time, to put the info at the top.

Text of above message.

Warning, this ink is a stainer, but I love it anyway! (KWZI #4) This is the original version. @@@*"

Tanzanite is not on my desk here. Anyway, buy a sample of Tanzanite before buying another bottle. The Vac 700 that had tanzanite went to get a re-do on the "o" rings - or not, because it was being fussy. Williamsburg Mix (see notes above about adding egg dye to the Wiliamsburg ink and then adding Organics Studio Flo+, De Atramentis Document Fuschia and then finally the Tanzanite / Noodler's purple mix. Finally, you have Sterling Violet.

Yeah I saw them, I was wondering what you diluted your ink (in the pen) to. Myself, I rarely follow directions. ;)

Ah! No, I didn't dilute it, that's the concentrated mix that I mailed to you.

Those are some really nice colours, where would I be able to get some dragontoots ink?

I have just got a lathe and I have always been fascinated by making pens. I am still very new to this.

As I understand it, it was some very old powder that Amberlea managed to find.
