3D Printed Pen Clip

Hi all

I hope this is ok to post here. I recently purchased a JEB's Pens Lignum Vitae pen and after using for a while hoped I could find a suitable clip to put on it.

I looked around and found the Kaweco (very inexpensive) and some of the old Waterman "accomodating" clips for sale for quite a difference in price.

So, I designed one for myself and had it 3d printed at Shapeways and it came out fairly well.

Wow, that looks remarkably good! How did you get the dimensions?

Hi Thanks for looking!

Good question....first of course you need the diameter of the pen which is 15mm. 3d printing in this material is not recommended to be less than about 1 mm thickness so that solved the band part. I used my Lamy Swift as an example and then just some guesses.

Thanks
