Platinex 615N- same form factor as the Artex 415 N- I had picked up a black one earlier. This pen is otherwise well preserved and NOS, only the clip plating is badly rusted- need to find a good clip!

This pen is called Wilson 101- as found from the stamping on the blue pen . The blue one was fully dismantled and serviced and ink tested. Excellent writer.

This pen , named Optimat 75 aerofil is the smaller edition of the earlier Optimat pen. The section is still jammed, working on it.

A Hero 329 in Chrome & Grey- this is the only Chinese pen in this lot. I like the Grey colour. The pen came without a nib and ink sac- provided from stock. The steel capped 329's are more durable than the gold plated aluminum capped ones in the very long run!

58 pieces of neglected NOS vintage Indian pens picked up from Calcutta pen hospital at Rs 50/ piece. Cleaning them now. most of these are well restorable. There are some Artex pens. These are from mid 1970's. Will detail in due course.

So. finally I have completed servicing all these pens. There is one more black Artex 96 NOS, but after cleaning it became apparent that the cap is from an unknown pen and is green in colour!! There are minor improvements needed in some of these pens, I would approach the supplier to get the needful service.

Thank you all very much for viewing the pens and for your comments.

Five pieces of NOS Artex 105- minor damage to some clip and cap band plating, otherwise preserved very well. This used to be the everybody's pen in our schooldays in the 1970's.

I used the green one extensively in my school days i.e. 80's and early 90's, but having brand name "Flora". This brand name is also property of Artex Pen Mart beside brand name "Artex".

Hi nice to know that. Please share more of such information as you remember.. I too had my school days in same period or a bit earlier. My observation as I remember, Artex , Flora and Platinex were possibly from the same design platform and these brand names were based on the levels of trim and material and qc variation...... just an assumption by me!
