Don't Just Tell Us About The Pen You're Using, *show* Us! - 2015

I'm always terribly embarrassed to post in these threads. I should just post the pens and leave it at that... (or failing that, practise my handwriting more dutifully).

This is from a former 'I don't know anything about pens' box lot on ebay. Refurbed, polished lightly, new sac. Nib needs to be replaced or worked on. Scratchy.

No reason to be embarrassed!

Today was a sh(beep)y day from me really, but I've received my first TWSBI which is nice.

If that's penmanship to be embarrassed of...I'm never posting a sample here!

It looks beautiful to me!

I always thought Esties were scratchy, but a little nib work and they are excellent writers. Even for a scratchy nib you definitely made that pen work for you! Very nice script. I have smoothen out some nibs on my own. Here are some steps...

Nail files for pens and not for nails ... as my teenager walked by the computer she looked up at me and said "Priorities" and then walked on.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Create a Ghostly Avatar and I'll send you a letter. Check out some Ink comparisons: The Great PPS Comparison

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

I think it also had something to do with having a sonic cleaner for pens (but not for computer games), a lipstick holder used for ink vials, a cabinet that used to hold books now holding inks.... come to think about it, why is she complaining?

Good morning! Thanks, everyone, for the beautiful photos of pens.

I love checking this thread, even though I don't post often.

Well at least you figured out how to post from your iPhone. I am still learning how to do so.

I'm so glad this thread was rekindled!

Breathe. Take one step at a time. Don't sweat the small stuff. You're not getting older, you are only moving through time. Be calm and positive.

Hehe, thanks Tringle, one step at a time. Maybe if I rotated it before posting it would come out straight, but it comes out straight on the iPhone so who knows...
