Your Kujaku and Chikurin look beautiful in those TWSBI twins. These pens are addictive aren't they? I can't stop staring at the ink inside, either mine or anyone else's.

Yes, they are very addictive. I would love to have ten of them with different inks. They are also the pens that draw most attention from non fountain pen people. Before I bought them I did not like demonstrators. I can recommend them to anyone who do not alredy have one.

I've overlooked TWSBIes for a long time now, but look what came today; a 580AL! :-) Inked up with diamine blue-black, this will be a good pen at work

I too have overlooked TWSBI & think I need one. What size nib is that?

Thank you.

Stillman & Birn whenever I can. I LOVE them - that one was in a Seawhite of Brighton though. Cheap as chips over here but really rather good.

Catching up on old posts: ... and now I can see that I've overlooked Parker 51s too. What an amazing cap and nib on this one! I'm sorry, dcpritch, but I really envy you this one! :-)

Line Could you please tel me what is the brass fitting protruding from the end of the pen? Is there something missing that would fit over that? Thanks.

You mean the TWSBI pen? There is nothing missing on the pen, but I've cut the photo so the end of the pen (where the piston turning knob is) doesn't show.

I'm sorry to be such a machine-gun-jenny-poster today. You see, I've spent a lot of my life today on this thread and I had to get all of the impressions out of my system ;-)

Inspired by TeaHive and SNAK, I've made a frankenpen out of one of my two new TWSBIs. I've fitted the Orange 580 AL with a waterman's gold nib with some flex. And for those wondering; there has been no colour match thinking on this inkup.

Line Thanks for the reply. I'm sorry for the confusion. It was a Parker posted by dcpritch weeks ago. I didn't realize that you were just commenting. Now I have to ask the question to dcpritch.

Gold nib + feed goes for about EUR 110 in my local B&M shop.

Have not seen the Brass Sport there (may be sold out, but they do have a brass and a copper Liliput.

The gold nib would be a bit of a luxury, ha! I have a brass Liliput already--I love it! But I like the look of the Sport models. Cult Pens or Fahrney's shall be receiving an order from me in the near future, that's certain.

TeaHive

I purchased mine from Cult Pens in the UK. The clip has to be purchased separately. I have written a rather amateur review in the following thread linked below. There are also more images and information further down the thread. It is a very smart pen and whilst heavy it is balanced perfectly when capped.
