That sounds right. I traded purple ink for it, and Art did a custom nib. It's now one of my favorites.

I've just filled my Caran d'Ache Varius Metwood. It's now ready to be used the week to come in alternance with the Ecridor Retro, the Waterman Premier and the Montblanc 146 Silver. I always take 4 pens with different inks when going to work ...

Thier, I have this fear of open ink bottle (from one bad experience). The second I saw your photo, I thought, Wow, please close the lid, please close the lid :lol: .

And then I saw your pens. They are gorgeous!

My son (5) also got recently his first fountain pen.

A Pelikan Griffix which he really likes.

But of course he still want to use mine as well. :)

 

 

Today I have something new.

 

Guess who?

 

 

 

Paper: Clairefontaine Dessin 160g/m2 A4

Material: Pencils

Effort: about 2,5 hours

Thanks Tas and line for your kind words. I love a relaxing weekend where I get to sit down and work on something I enjoy doing. I think if we had 3 day weekends I will more happily work through the 5 day work days.

This pen looks quite beat up with all the scratches etc, but I happily pick it up because it writes so pleasantly with the springy oblique nib, which is my favourite type of nib.

is it comfortable to hold?

Yes, it does have some spring, but mostly it is crisp.

 

These are similar to the TWSBIs. ArtsNibs.com has done an amazing job. He's great. I am totally in love with his work and I'm currently enamoured with this nib.
