GORGEOUS FRANKENTWSBI SNAK !!!!

Thanks Cyber6 , I love TWSBI's for their less expensive replacement nib units! I haven't had good luck with taking out TWSBI feed intact, I always get the fins all bent up in the process. So I end up needing a replacement TWSBI feed, or I give up and use plain old ebonite feed from India.

Ok my first FPN post proper! Although I have a Italix Parsons Essential on order I couldn't wait to get a pen in hand so went shopping today. First stop was a MB shop and I had a play with a nice 146, but decided to try a cheaper option first, so here we have it....

:W2FPN:

Great choice of orange pen and black ink! I enjoy contrasting ink and pen matchup like that! Perl Noir is wonderful. I am sure you will enjoy them so much that you will be running to a pen shop to get your next pen very soon!

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

So, is that an Esterbrook desk pen I detect in your "cult pens"?

Today, I'm enjoying my fascination for celluloid patterns, although the one may actually be casein.

Welsh pen with a newer Waterman nib (the original was truly awful)

Mysterioso Pen - the Esterbrook section and a Laban fine nib fitted in the collar

I've been catching up on this thread.

A while back -- 7 Dec, in fact -- you wrote this note to DC, pondering the differences between the various Estie nibs. .

So, I thought you might enjoy this:

I have a slightly larger version of this image that seems to be too heavy for the upload feature, here. If you'd like a copy, just PM me with your email address.

what pen is this

I think you have posted pictures of one lately, it's the blue ripple ebonite.

My Estie Desk Pen is my most used pen, if you consider that it must be refilled every 2 days. I now refill it with only one ink, but I may change that again.

Hi. Long time no see! I'm sorry that the quality of the photos is bad. This is what I could manage today :-)

I stopped by the Atlanta Show on my way from SC to TN yesterday in search of some vintage Montblancs with soft, broad nibs. It was a good show and a successful mission, but unfortunately I get and 'Uploading is not Allowed' message when I try to attach pictures. Can somebody tell me what I am doing wrong?
