A poem about Spring, I thought it appreciate to use green ink.

Extremely handsome writing --especially with a dip pen!

Lovely color and poem for spring. I remember writing a very youthful study of romantic religiosity in de Musset's poetry, long ago when I was undergrad.

Lovely Waterman #94! I have an olive ripple, but the color combination of yours really stands out!

Its part of a set, I have the matching pencil, and the pen has the original blue ripple feed. I am afraid to use the set too often as Shrek may break it! LOL

I was lucky enough to find a 94 with the original olive-colored feed. Nice pens, aren't they?!

Exquisite handwriting, and stunning ink color. What ink are you using?

I just got home with these. I got them in a lot I bought at auction. The listing stated - Onward, Travelers, Moore and others.

A first and second FPN post by my wife, Susan, who has 4 fountain pens, 3 of which are confiscations from my selling inventory. The Vac was a present.

Ouch. When a text is half covered up by pens and velvet pouches, I generally don't scan for information on the ink. Pardon me. :D

Another exercise with my Pentel Brush pen.

Title: Tiger

Paper: Clairefontaine Dessin 160g/m2 A4

Material: Mixed Media - India Ink, Watercolour Pencils

Effort: about 1,5 hours

Your brush strokes are strong and decisive. I am practicing brush calligraphy (Japanese letters) using the Pentel pocket brush pen but it is so hard to control the brush! The lines get all wobbly and mine looks like I wrote it with my left hand.

A new acquisition: An Edison-Collier Herald Grande (Old Marble), with 1.1 stub nib.

The pen is good sized, and fits nicely in the hand. The marbled celluloid (?) is really lovely and complex. My one and only wish is that the cap had a metal band at the base --in part to give it a true old fashioned look, and in part to keep the celluloid from cracking if you post the cap while writing. Without the band, it looks a bit unfinished or that something is missing. But for the price, it's a very nice pen.

Lovely pattern. Is the material see through in the cap? It must look amazing when sunlight hits it.
