Penman Sapphire sheen! More than on any other paper so far.

That is jaw-droppingly gorgeous. The sheen on the Penman Sapphire is incredible.

I wish I could get the coloured IG inks and I am still wait listed for Pharmacist's, but KWZI's group buy doesn't extend to Australia so I am patiently waiting. In the meantime I made my own coloured iron gall inks so I am playing around with the recipe a bit.

I hope you'll enjoy Tomoe River paper. Once you try it, there is no turning back. It was like that for me. Did you get the cream or white coloured TR paper?

I'm loving my Pelikan. Just got it Friday morning, and I'm really impressed. I think I see more Pelikans in my future. Fits perfectly alongside my Sailor 1911m and Kaweco Classic Sport.

I only ever fill my Lepine pen with a blunt needled syringe. For me it is the cleanest and safest way of refilling the BSB, and when the feed/nib/section needs cleaning I disassemble them and plonk them in the ultrasonic cleaner for a little while. I do have the Kaweco small converter and it fits the Lepine pen too, but for a staining ink like BSB I just reuse the cartridge and when it gets yucky or when the connection point gets too loose I just get another emptied cartridge and start over.

Thanks for the information SNAK. I will have to pick up one of the Kaweco convertors and give it a try!

Nice! Almost bought one. How do you like it?

Enjoy the pen, it is an EF soft as I like them but is shall we say a firehose? Have to use drier ink to help control the flow.

Holds a lot of ink, think it is more than the M800, should measure in future

I just got this one back together this morning. This is another one that apparently nobody wanted. It does have a chip out of the base of the cap, but other than that, this is turning out to be a wonderfully spent $11. My new Parker Duofold Jr...

Early 30s Made in Canada Parker.

Not important enough to be given a name - just Fountain Pen on the barrel, but a great favourite 80 years on.
