I bought me a new toy.

A box with 120 Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer Watercolour Pencils

 

Of course I started to play with my new toy. :)

 

 

 

Paper: Gerstaecker N°3 Aquarelle 24x32 cm 200g/m2

Beautiful work.....and I have a serious case of pencil envy: I love Albrecht Durers....creme de la creme of its ilk( in my opinion)......

Ptero: Lovely cat! Would you please tell us how you like the pencils? I am chosing between Albrecht Durer and Lyra Rembrandt watercolour pencils. I already have both brands of non watersoluble coloured pencils.

It's the aluminum since it matches the clip. It's a beauty. I also have a PINK!!

This beauty arrived today. I am in love with the nib - what a wonderful writing experience! Why didn't I get one sooner?!?! :lol:

I wanted a two-tone nib in my TWSBI 580 USA for eye-candy, and managed to heat set the feed last night. I even turned the EF nib (which is a really nice nib to begin with, so it almost pained me to grind it) into a 0.5mm cursive italic. Juicy!
