Very old Conklin, new to me and newly restored! It has awesome line variation! attachicon.gifIMG_20150315_155952.jpg

Oh, that's nice. Second the query on the ink; it suits it admirably.

That's interesting... the only thing I've heard about Visconti Blue is that it doesn't have even a hint of purple.

Could there be a confuddlement between Visconti and Aurora, mayhap? Aurora definitely errs purplewards.

Must be something in the air concerning flex nibs in Noodler's (Noodlers? With apostrophe, or without? I should really go and find out one of these days...) Appalling piccy; 'pologies.

I'm not able to get Attila's photos either, most of the time. I haven't looked carefully enough to try to diagnose the problem. I do know that on my work computer, my employer's technology filters say that the www.kepfeltotles.hu link is to a site that "doesn't meet our standards". They probably still think Hungary is behind the iron curtain.

I was browsing an European web store the other day, and they did not include it as the part of the European Union....They might know something? :P

I'll try an other place to upload this time.

This one was a surprise. I got this pen within a lot of sheaffers and Esterbrooks I bought on e-bay. It was covered in grime. I almost discarded it, but instead I decided to give it a chance. I cleanned, replaced the sac and aligned the tines and after all it became one of my smoothest pen. Smoother than some of my Montblancs e definitively smoother than all of my Pelikans. It cost me no more than 5 bucks.

I can't say it's a beautiful pen, but it's nice to use and that's what matter.

And also have this interesting clear feed, very funny.

I can see them at home on my iPad and my windows computer. The problem must be the tech filters at work.

Can't wait to take this combo for a spin at work. Feels like it's going to be a home run.

Ooh, that's nice! What ink is it loaded up with?

That would be Lie de the by J herbin, Which is hard to recognize there due it it being considerably more saturated when flexing that much. Thanks though its my first vintage and I love it!

Polka dot.....instantly makes me think of a line from one of Leonard Cohen's songs, called "Closing Time"....

"The women tear their blouses off, and the men they dance on the polka dots".....

(I was in the doctors waiting room, ipod on, that song came on, and I was singing along, out loud, with it...just as well I was early and the only one there.....)

And thanks for all the inky suggestions for my pink pen - got some goodies in the post today but too tired to write more tonight.....catch up tomorrow....

I do love this place ...such a mine if information and help and suggestions and help, and humour, too: very glad I belong here.
