it's interesting how my shop lighting changes colors...I'll get better pictures of both next time I'm doing real photography.

I've had this kind of feeling when I got my TWSBI

I used the pen all last night without the pocket protector and no leaking. WHEW!

I'll watch for one. I have an all black Snorkel and a Clipper Snorkel coming up for sale, but no Crests.

If you think everything is going well... you obviously have no idea what is really going on!

I can see I'll have to take some photos, but until then, a Pelikan M800 green with a fine nib. Ink is Kon Peki.

A Pelikan and Kon Peki is a beautiful match up I am sure. Enjoy your pen and ink.

Beautiful blossom. What ink would be closest to that colour I wonder? PR Purple Mojo?

Am I the only one who doesn't see Attila's photos most of the time? I am sure other people can see them because I see their comments. What am I doing wrong? I'm on Apple Powerbook Pro with Safari browser? Just on the standard setting (i.e. I haven't fiddled with the computer much).

Forgot to post this the other day.

and gratuitous dog photograph - I just emptied the trunk and came back to Parker sitting in the trunk, he is now 3 so maybe he thinks he can ride back there!

SNAK - No idea what you are doing with the photos, I am on a Macbook Air and no issues. Well now that I say that I will probably have issues. I am not sure on the matching ink for the blooms. I will need to check with my inkxpert ALD.

I just love your boxer and your painting-/drawingkit. It is such an inspiration. I am trying to improve my drawing skills by working my way through the book Drawing on the right side of the brain.

Thanks for letting me know! I got a pm with this problem some time ago. I still don't know why do the photos display for some and not for the others. Strange. There were a few times when they did not appear to me either, but came back after I've refreshed the page.

I'll try to find an other place to upload them.

Just got this......not used yet, trying to decide which colour to use with it: suggestions very welcome. I'm thinking of something in the pink/purple area. I'm not normally a pink girl, but this just grabbed me....it's a a Delta Dreidel....the top screws off, and a little silver dreidel is in there, with a Star of David under it.

So....ink? Preferably available in UK....

I like the color and the material, but I'm not really fond of Delta's aesthetics.

I think most colors would work well with this pen. Black and pink are the obvious choices, but I also think a bright blue (a la BSB), a dark green, a brown, a vibrant orange (diamine pumpkin?), a neutral grey, a purple, even a turquoise would look nice.

Pink is a beautiful color...

Since you live in the UK, Diamine is the way to go. vast color variety in affordable prices plus the local availability...
Damn, I miss all the fun living in Greece...

Thank you, inotrym.....I think I'll 'play' a little, with cartridges, before deciding on a particular one(I do want to keep this as a one colour pen)....easier to flush after a cartridge. And I've got several of the ones you suggested, so it'll be fun to see which I like best.

I've always had problems finding a purple/violet ....never seems to feel quite right to me:back in the days when I used to paint(I am/was an artist) there was a beautiful shade that was not quite blue, not quite violet....and another I loved, rose d'ore. Now, if there was an ink that matched rose d'ore, that would be perfect.....
