What pen is that? Also what sorcery is that? Your handwriting looks amazing!

Thanks!

It is an old style Pelikan 600 (400 size, but with 18k nib an gold band on the piston knob). Poor little fellow is not in the best shape, but works beautifully.

Tim,

That is a great looking pen, I have always wanted a Parker 75 sterling silver as well for my "want" list not my "need" list. I am sure I did not "need" all the new pens I found at the LA Show. Especially the Omega Gigant, Waterman 94 Blue Ripple set, etc. My name is Troy I am a penaholic.

Nothing more exciting than being at a pen show and experiencing Pen Frenzy, I know the dealers see me coming but that is part of the sport....or addiction, obsession...whatever suits my mood to explain. :P

Yet another refurb in progress. Lady Scripsert 6, paisley (??) gold on periwinkle. The enamel was chipped, matching the enamel was a pain in the patootie. The nib was funky, very smooth writer still, just glides, but sat at a funny angle. The pen was -filthy- and I would stand up in a court of law and swear that it can't have EVER been cleaned. Like.. ever. For any of you who have cleaned old gunked up pens.. and you run it through a couple of ultrasonic cycles and it gushes mostly one colour.. then the next few cycles are another colour, and then just sort of grey muddy particles come out for the next 43 cycles. Yeah... like that.

Also, don't run the barrel or cap through an ultrasonic cleaner, for anyone tempted to try this at home. :P

You make that beautiful little Skripsert sing! I have one just like it and it has been languishing in favor of my old, flexible nibbed Watermans. I need to think outside the box more.

Breathe. Take one step at a time. Don't sweat the small stuff. You're not getting older, you are only moving through time. Be calm and positive.

Using Sailor Grenade in my M205 today. I had an extra M200 BB italic nib lying around, so I decided to try it out in the M205.

I am really enjoying my Noodler's Ebonite Konrad. The material is really pleasant. I can't believe I got a true ebonite piston filler for this price. I put a standard Noodler's Fine - Medium nib on it because I use my Ahab for flex writing. It's very wet, but no writing or leaking issues so far. Great little pen!

My handwriting is still settling in... for some reason, it looks fine to me until I photograph it. :D

Today's project: Sheaffer balance 500 (non-white dot) striated grey. Wish I could date it reliably... any of our experts want to stick an oar in with a date?

Lovely little pen. Unlike most of Sheaffer's pens I don't feel like I need to prop it up on my shoulder to write with it!

Love the sheen of the Grenade!

I've been using the Pen+Message Cigar in my M1000 and my Pilot 912. It is pretty awesome!

I LOOOOVE CIGAR !!!!!...

Your pictures makes it looks more brown than mine... I know is hard to photograph. In real life it has a murky green hue.. I did a chromatography and was shocked at the different dyes that makes Cigar. :D

Love your writing...

With the wide and wet M1000 it looks really like a brown, but with the fine and dryer 912 the green comes out much more. Also it looks almost like an olive when it reaches the paper, but turns brown while it dries.

Thanks
