This, but with a medium nib:

Couldn't be happier! :-) However, waiting for a couple of fast-drying Noodler's Bernanke Blue, since it writes really wet.

So bummed out. Went back to the doc today and was hoping to get a smaller cast and use of my thumb back. Instead, the new xrays showed that not only is my wrist and second metatarsal broken but my thumb is also fractured. New cast is more restrictive than the first. At least four weeks before I get my hand back. Very depressing. 😿

That is a bummer, you know you can always send me your pens to use in the meantime! LOL

I am bringing my Marlen Aleph back to the shop today. With force it gets a line, without force hardly visible and skipping.

And I always write with a light hand.

Probably the tines are set too tight.

Good morning on a very cold NYC Tuesday --

I forgot to note that while the nib is French and period-correct, it is not the original Bayard nib. I have one at home in a slightly older Bayard with a not-yet-successfully-closed crack that I think I'll move to this pen. But it gets a fill as is, first.

It's a deco beauty. I've had one set aside awaiting a proper nib. Now after seeing yours I think mine will have to come together soon. I think I have an Eversharp nib that I could use.

How can you tell when you're out of invisible ink?

PS: It never ceases to amaze me how a bit of neglected grime shows up on a photograph...gotta clean that out of the lever.

These are what I have inked up right now.....too many....Oh well.... :D

On canson satin tracing paper.
I can't get over the fact that how wide the M1000's EF is...If every EF is like that, than it is really disappointing. I know it is soft and WET, but still.

Beautiful, as usual. I LOVE seeing your writing samples. Your cursive has so much personality.

I would, but your pens would make them feel inferior, inadequate and unworthy of being dipped. Then when I got them back there'd be this whole lack of self confidence and fear of ink thing going on. That would mean years of therapy which would be quite expensive. I better just leave them in my desk.

:)

Very nice. I think that's my favorite of the Pelikan finishes I've seen so far.
