Amazing handwriting, I wish I could write small and clear like that! Great review as well, a pen for a buck is awesome!

I'd love to hear how you're liking yours. I keep thinking about getting one in a few months once I've saved a bit.

I only inked it up last night, but so far I'm loving it. It's my first 14k gold nib, and I love the line variation possible with the soft-fine nib. It does write wetter than the Lamy pens that are my daily writers. (Guess it's time to upgrade from those cheap composition books!) I will say that this pen has made me want to start saving up my pennies for the Custom 912 and the Justus 95.

Scuse my pencil guidelines... was just getting a feel for this beater... I think I'm going to refurb it. I have NO idea what the pink goopy stuff is, but it seems to have slightly pitted the surface

Edited to add: was glad to find on disassembly that the breather tube and everything else seems to be intact.

Ink is Diamine archival registrar's ink.

The red Esterbrook Safari is riding in my pocket right now, drunk on Waterman blue-black. It is the first pen to make me like a broad stub nib (I'm generally a fine/medium-fine sort of guy).

I'm not familiar with Avon as a brand, but the swirly brown-green one is one.

The teal one, and the teeny one, are both Inkographs -- the teal one is a stylograph (I love those) and the little one is a ballpoint (oh well).

The others are so far unidentified. The black one with the metal cap only says 'Made In Italy' on it, and the rest have even less identification. I think I've seen the style of open-top nib on the rightmost one, but I can't recall where... right now I'm just perusing my stash to see if I have anything that will fit it.

Answering InCoWriMo letters with my Waterman 14, Diamine Syrah, on Tomoe River.

The answer to everything: Put a bird on it! Kind of jealous of all those receiving letters in such lovely hand.

Here's my first InCoWriMo letter. It's on its way to the UK. Writing the letters are fun, but I feel like I have not much to say, so I just babble then doodle. I think I have one more in me by month's end mostly because I have a doodle idea I want to get out.

I do not have an original Superstyl de Bayard nib, what I do have is a spare Pelikan 400 nib that writes a fine flexible line that is super wet. Look at that nib creep....oooh la la la!

I like the family photo, you should make them "smile" and show off their nibs.

@Amber - Rouge Hematite is a P.I.T.A. to clean out of pens, so its blue.....my old standard.

@Holly - I just noticed the hatch marks and the design of the pen, the pink isn't a first choice for me but I do like the design of your pen. Reminds me of mosaic glass.
